Motorpsycho - Motorpnakotic Fragments, Part IV mp3 album

I hope the band decides to give this a wider release at some point. Maybe part of some bundle, that would be nice. Still, I understand it was meant for the hardcore fans in the first place. TheSpaceMan December 18th 2014. Yes, it isn't as encompassing as Behind The Sun, but it's a great record nevertheless.

This is part 4 of Motorpnakotic Fragments, containing fragments seven and eight; the shipping included a CD compiling all eight Motorpnakotic Fragments.

Behind the Sun is an album by Motorpsycho, released on March 7, 2014 via Stickman Records and Rune Grammofon. It was released as a double 12" vinyl record, CD, as well as digital download. Side A of the vinyl version features two instrumental tracks, cut in parallel (the needle will randomly play one of the two songs). Since this side was marketed as featuring an "etching", these instrumentals are considered hidden tracks.

The Motorpnakotic Fragments is a beautiful work of art, something unique to have in my Motorpsycho collection and I absolutely love it! Love the DIY spirit and suddenly finding a new single in my mailbox every now and then this fall. And the music is great. It is not easy nowadays to distinguish yourself; but this is a project that sets you part from most of the other bands out there. Again, thanks for this, it is appreciated and a small treasure in my vinyl collection. Btw: the songs are not to shabby either.

Motorpsycho (initiated 1989 at Trøndertun, Melhus, Norway) is a band from Trondheim. Their music can generally be defined as progressive or psychedelic rock, but they also mix in elements from alternative, jazz, post-rock, pop, country and many other musical styles. The members of the band are Bent Sæther (born 18 February 1969, bass/vocals), Hans Magnus "Snah" Ryan (born 31 December 1969, guitar/vocals) and Tomas Järmyr (drums).

This album would form something of a pattern for this band for the next few years: It was critically very well received and added to an increasing fanbase from outside of Norway, but never became the massive mainstream success most critics felt it deserved to be. 1994 also saw the band venturing out into completely different musical territories, as they under the moniker MOTORPSYCHO & FRIENDS released a country rock album named "The Tussler - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack". This song takes you into the more experimental part of the album. After a while, a dark riff comes in, and then calms to the mysterious psychedelic feel again. The pattern repeats, but this time builds on the riff to a chaotic crescendo before releasing the tension. This double album, released in 2006, shows Motorpsycho continuing to expand and experiment with styles.
