He died suddenly of peritonitis while at the peak of his career, just after "What Am I Living For?", backed by "Hang Up My Rock & Roll Shoes", was released. Harold (Chuck) Willis (January 31, 1928 – April 10, 1958) was an American blues, rhythm and blues, and rock singer and songwriter; he was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
A classic album gets four siblings expanding on a classic live album. This album came out during my junior year in college. Van Morrison was at his peak. The performances, rightly regarded as classic, were well regarded, but the recorded sound and production on the original vinyl album was not. While the "Caledonia Soul Orchestra" was a great unit, their sound was not well captured. This new remastered release belatedly corrects that situation.
A lot of rumors are currently surrounding If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. Until Drake dropped it as an album it was being hinted at as a mixtape. The running theory right now is that Drake dropped this as an album at the last minute to fulfill his four album contract with Cash Money Records. This way he can leave, when Lil Wayne eventually sorts out his lawsuit with CMR, and it is assumed leaves the label.
