Knut - Challenger mp3 album

Challenger (Knut album). Studio album by Knut. March 19, 2002 (2002-03-19). Challenger is the second album by Swiss band Knut.
Upon completion of this album your ears may pull out the rape kit. To call this album intense would be an understatement; Challenger is so intelligently brutal it’s almost implausible. Hydrahead records have a knack for signing inspired artists that more often than not create amazing music that feels fresh and original. Jake Bannon (Converge) introduced Knut to Aaron Harris (Isis) who then signed them to HH and toured with them that same year, which should give some idea how good these guys are.
Recorded and mixed at Rec Studio, Geneva, Switzerland in an insane amount of time during 2001. Challenger (CD, Album, Promo).

Knut (Russian word for whip, pronounced cnoot) are a mathcore/sludge metal band from Geneva, Switzerland that formed in 1994. They started by playing in the local underground squat scene, publishing a couple of seven-inch releases as well as their first CD in 1997, titled Leftovers. This early material was put out on Snuff Records, which was run by Roderic and Didier.
Challenger is Knut's second full-length and, coming four years after the original release of the band's debut album (it was released later in the . it shows a big leap forward. The first album was actually really impressive, but Challenger outdoes it in terms of being heavier, tighter, more abrasive, and just more punishing in general.
