Kiss - Interview With Gene Simmons mp3 album

Gene Simmons is a 1978 solo album by Gene Simmons, the bassist and co-vocalist of the American hard rock band Kiss. It was one of four solo albums released by the members of Kiss on September 18, 1978. Reaching number 22 on the US Billboard 200 albums chart, it was the highest-placing of all the four Kiss solo albums

In 2014, with the original KISS lineup, Frehley was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Forty years after releasing his first solo album, Ace Frehley’s eighth solo album, Spaceman, will hit the shelves on Friday, and it’s arguably his best work since Anomaly. I recently had the pleasure of speaking with the Space Ace himself. We talked his new album, and what it was like being back in the studio with Gene Simmons, who accompanied Ace on Spaceman in Without You I’m Nothing and Your Wish Is My Command  .

A Conversation With Gene Simmons. Photo by Michael Cavacini. In addition to recently interviewing Barry Manilow and John Oates, I interviewed the God of Thunder: Gene Simmons. I’ve been a KISS fan since September 4, 1996, when I saw the band perform under the Brooklyn Bridge on MTV’s Video Music Awards. So, having the opportunity to speak with Gene Simmons was a surreal one, especially when I answered the phone and he said, Hi, this is Gene Simmons.

Kiss may yet get around to releasing a new album - but it doesn't sound like fans should expect to hear it anytime soon. Bassist Gene Simmons was noncommittal on the subject when it came up during a recent interview with Michael Cavacini, admitting that "there's some writing going on" to build up a new stockpile of songs for the next LP, but he's "not incentivized" to release a record because there isn't as much money in putting out new music in today's.

Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer, collectively known to the rest of us as the legendary KISS, recently released their first studio recording since Psycho Circus 11 years ago. Sonic Boom, a three-disc set performed by the current line-up contains studio recordings on the first, featuring the new single Modern Day Delilah, while the other two CDs include live recordings from earlier this year. KISS also recently kicked off a North American tour to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of their innovative album, KISS: Alive. The tour started with two sold out nights at Detroit’s Cobo Hall Arena, the very same stage KISS: Alive was recorded. Right before KISS went on the road, they received news that they were finally being nominated for the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of Fame along with Genesis, The Stooges, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Gene Simmons – bassist/vocalist for Kiss, TV personality, multi-millionaire entrepreneur – is the living embodiment of the American Dream. An only child, he was born Chaim Witz on August 25, 1949 in Haifa, Israel. Eight years later, after his parents separated, his mother Flora took him to live in New York City, where, in 1973, he and Paul Stanley co-founded Kiss. Simmons and Stanley have led the band throughout their career, selling more than 100 million albums

The post is an apparent response to an interview Gene Simmons gave Guitar World, in which Simmons said he was not sure yet if he would invite Frehley and original drummer Peter Criss on the group’s upcoming End of the Road Tour. Ace and Peter have gotten three chances, Simmons said, according to Blabbermouth. They were in and out of the band - fired - three times. For drugs, alcohol, bad behavior, being unprofessiona. hey weren’t carrying their load.
