Commercially, the song has peaked at number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100, reached the top 20 in Canada, and the top 30 in France and the United Kingdom. It won a Best Hip-Hop Video award at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.

Onika Tanya Maraj (born December 8, 1982), known professionally as Nicki Minaj (/mɪˈnɑːʒ/), is a Trinidad and Tobago-born rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, and model. Born in Saint James, Port of Spain, and raised in Queens, New York City, she gained public recognition after releasing the mixtapes Playtime Is Over (2007), Sucka Free (2008), and Beam Me Up Scotty (2009).
The album's lead single "Chun-Li" recently vaulted into the top 10 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart, marking her 30th effort to do so. This makes her the woman with the most top 10 hits on the chart, surpassing Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige, each standing at 29. Just last week, Minaj was announced as a performer at the BET Awards (airing June 24th). Only a few days later, news broke that Minaj is slated to headline (alongside Post Malone) the 2018 Made in America festival (taking place in September)
