Patrician Anne McKinnon - Doesn't Anybody Here Know It's Christmas? mp3 album
Now – The Christmas Album is a compilation album released in 1985. The album is part of the Now! series in the United Kingdom, and collects popular Christmas songs of the last few decades. It reached number 1 on the UK Albums Chart for two weeks, in between two runs of Now That's What I Call Music 6. The album has since been superseded by subsequent two-disc and later three-disc releases in the 2000s. Band Aid : "Do They Know It's Christmas?" – 3:41.
It’s on his 1972 Christmas album, which normally gets sniffy write ups. Never trust the critics. It was written by Tony Macaulay, who had a hand in dozens of British hits – Build Me Up Buttercup, Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes – but nothing as moving as this. Keith, who was a member of Emerson Lake & Palmer alongside Greg, was a really nice bloke and a fine musician, but my strongest memory of him was at a celebrity race at Brands Hatch where he shunted me up the back, writing off my car. Also chosen by Andy Pickles of Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers, whose Spectacular Christmas Party album is an office-party staple. I love the Slade and Wizzard singles, and when we did the Jive Bunny record we had the pleasure of working with Noddy Holder and Roy Wood, who knocked on the studio door with crazy purple hair and pink glasses and ended up getting.
It's Christmas time, there's no need to b. And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy Throw your arms around the world at Christmas time. But say a prayer, Pray for the other ones At Christmas time it's hard, but when you're having fun. There's a world outside your window And it's a world of dread and fear. Where the only water flowing.
