Mike Cross - Solo At Midnight mp3 album

Mike Cross (born October 25, 1946 in Maryville, Tennessee) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. His music blends rock, country, pop and folk. Signed to prominent label Sugar Hill (notable for releases by Doc Watson, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, Dolly Parton and numerous others), Cross enjoys a strong fan following at live performances across the nation. Best known for his humorous songs such as "The Scotsman," his catalog features a wide variety of musical genres and moods.

MIKE CROSS has been known to lose all sense of time on stage, save for the rhythmic kind. He's apt to play for hours on end, mixing country, blues and bluegrass, tall tales and short ditties, whatever suits him, his guitar, fiddle and banjo. So if his album falls short of his performances, well, perhaps that's to be expected. The good news is that "Solo At Midnight" may well be the next best thing to being there. There isn't a dud among them. MIKE CROSS - "Solo At Midnight" (Sugar Hill SH 10007); appearing Friday at 8 at The Barns of Wolf Trap.

Mike Cross (born October 25, 1946 in Maryville, Tennessee) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. It is included in the Knoxville Metropolitan Area and a short distance from popular tourist destinations such as the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge.

Dead Cross members Mike Patton (left) and Dave Lombardo (second from right) explain how they fused spastic, operatic vocals with vicious hardcore on their debut album. Dead Cross’ self-titled debut won’t come out for another three months, but frontman Mike Patton is already cracking up about recording a gristly hardcore-punk LP at his age. Let’s be honest, being in a band like this at almost 50 years old is a little comical, he says. I’m not some young tough guy trying to prove a point anymore. For me to make a record like this, it’s entirely a musical adventure.
