Black Flag or black flag may refer to: Black Flag, Western Australia, an abandoned town named after the Black Flag gold mine and farm. Black Flag to Ora Banda Road, the road in Western Australia on which the abovementioned town is located. The Black Flag, a nom de guerre of terror suspect Ali Charaf Damache. Black flag: One of the main symbols of anarchism. A type of racing flag. One of various flags that are primarily black: list of black flags. Black Standard, the Black Flag of Islam.
Meanwhile the flag of Ukraine remained to hang on other flagstaff near the City Council. In turn the mayor of Kharkov Gennady Kernes instructed to remove the Russian colors hoisted by demonstrators. The militia tried to push aside people and to remove a flag, but militiamen it appeared a little and they didn't manage to make it. At the same time demonstrators cry out: Russia and Kiev, look , and also say that they aren't separatists. Kernes noted that Kharkov is a part of Ukraine and urged militia to clean from a flagstaff the Russian flag. Together demonstrators started shouting Kernesu: Traitor , Russia , Sevastopol. The mayor of Kharkov wanted to remove itself a flag, but it didn't allow, pushed aside and it went to premises of the City Council.
Black Flag's songs and lyrics are so interchangeable that the album stoops to a level of cut and paste writing. Instead of going off the deep end the way Family Man did, Ginn and company play it safe. Its embarrassing to listen to and to know I've actually purchased this. Black Flag's past will always be great but their present form is laughably bad. But let's not be so glum. I recall there was a really fantastic album released last year in the vein of old Black Flag and Circle Jerks. It was a self-titled record called OFF!. Go grab that instead, it's awesome.
The black flag with the motto Viurem lliures o morirem (We live free or die) was flown by Catalan army and militia corps during the final stages of the War of the Spanish Succession, when the Allies had already abandoned Catalonia that fought alone against the Spanish and French armies during 1713-1714. This black flag was packaged in 2012 with the historical novel Lliures o Morts (Live Free or Die) authored by Jaume Clotet and David de Montserrat
