Locust - No-One In The World mp3 album

No taxonomic distinction is made between locust and grasshopper species; the basis for the definition is whether a species forms swarms under intermittently suitable conditions. In English, the term "locust" is used for grasshopper species that change morphologically and behaviourally on crowding, forming swarms that develop from bands of immature stages called hoppers. In the desert locust plague in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia that lasted from 1966 to 1969, the number of locusts increased from two to 30 billion over two generations, but the area covered decreased from over 100,000 square kilometres (39,000 sq mi) to 5,000 square kilometres (1,900 sq mi. .Solitary and gregarious phases. Several organisations around the world monitor the threat from locusts. They provide forecasts detailing regions likely to suffer from locust plagues in the near future.

Reviews about Locust - No-One In The World (1):
How many singles does a good track deserve? For Locust’s _No-one in the World_, the answer is at least three. This Japanese version collects the lovely version that appears on his _Morning Light_ album, as well as the various “original” mixes that appeared way back in 1993. The “Third Summer After mix” introduces some electronic growl and fast breaks, while the “D. S. P. mix” coasts on its rhythm, carefully and sparsely placed. The “Original W. F. O. mix” is a minor ambient masterpiece, drifting on the vocals as the rhythm and the layers of sound slowly filter in. What more could you want? More mixes? Well, that’s coming right up…
