Much of the development work constituted transforming popular series elements into a 3D world, the game was delayed following the September 11 attacks, to allow the team to change references and gameplay deemed inappropriate. Upon release, the game received acclaim, with praise particularly directed at its concept. Grand Theft Auto III is a game played from a third-person view. Players complete missions-linear scenarios with set objectives-to progress through the story and it is possible to have several active missions running at one time, as some missions require players to wait for further instructions or events. Outside of missions, players can roam the games open world.

I remember when i first heard Scientist on GTA 3 and learned about everyone stealing his music. this is an awesome pressing, 180g, artwork is awesome, sound quality is great.

Randomly found this at a small record store, figure I'd give it a shot. Nice heavy vinyl, very clean pressing, mix sounds great to me. Solid quality all around!

Sounds incredible. Heavy wax too. I’m guessing 180g vinyl. Beautiful repress.

I was skeptical but found this lightly used for cheap. Nice pressing. Sounds great to me.

yea still think the 2002 sounds better, but glad he's getting $$$ finally

Hi,these re-issues sounds great, just listen to it before talking about "CD sound".What are you talking about ? Of course Scientist will get some money wid'em , you might buy some Greensleeves Records if you don't want musicians to live of their work. The best thing for us is to get Scientist records at a good price with a great sound quality. No difference with the 2002 Greensleeves releases.Covers are nice too, such a nice thang.Walter.

i suspect they didn't use the original master tapes (since hopeton 'scientist' brown seams to be in a battle over rights & money with GREENSLEEVES, who i would expect to own the masters - from his angry statements he did about the label (http://unitedreggae.com/articles/n212/092408/interview-scientist) i conclude that he wanted to generate some profit just for himself - that's why doing it on a russian label sounds the right move and to excluding this releases from north america (as written on the back cover). i think that those vinyls were based on CDs - the artwork though looks alluringly great

Appears to have been re-released on 14/02/2015 - available at some reputable online vendors so looks legit. Glad to hear sound quality is good. Too many shitty reggae/dub reissues floating around.

this sounds incredible!!

They just cancelled these pressings due to legal issues. I hope one day that Scientist will get full compensation for his works on these albums.

Can you tell us why please ? What sources of information do you have exactly ?

good pressing. quality cover art reproduction. STILL as compared to my other SCIENTIST recordsthe sound on those DUB-MIR re-releases is kind of "thin"i suspect that CDs and not the original master-tapes served as a source for those vinylsaccording to sleeve it was all done under exclusive licence from hopeton overton brown (excluding north america ;-) --- as opposed to all the GREENSLEEVES pressings - that's what h.o.brown claims:http://unitedreggae.com/articles/n212/092408/interview-scientist

is it out already!

GREENSLEEVES UK & USA: ain't no babylon, silly?

Bad represses? Is it the same people who did Scientist Meets the Roots Radics? That one wasn't bad.
