Pills - Electrocaïne mp3 album

Electrocaïne ‎(CD, Album). On "Electrocaïne", this is non-stop techno and acid breakbeat with a loud rave feeling. It definitely sounds more British or American than French, since "French touch" was not big beat/acid oriented at all. The only major exception is "Homework" where you really feel the Chemical Brothers's influence.

Pills' Electrocaine showcases the French electronic group's wide-range approach to music. Tracks like "Garden Party," "Black Pearl," and "Free Step" blend acid house, electronic pop, and hip-hop elements while also revealing a slightly dark edge, possibly because of the group's upbringing in Paris' rougher areas. Instead of imitating electronic acts from another city or time Electrocaine affords Pills their own unique direction in French electronica.

PILLS signes on with Shaman, a Mercury label and releases in '95 its firt album Foundation ; the latter really settles the basis of PILLS' originality, in a conception of electronic music moving away from the broad path set by the London, Chicago and Detroit scenes! The little odds of PILLS, its easiness to synthesise electronic pop and acidulous house into something incredibly ne. During this time Anton is left alone finalising his second album electrocaïne, 10 tracks which bring together extremes of ice and fire, pain and coldness, lights and shadows. With electrocaïne released by Mercury, PILLS manages an incredible new masterpiece.
