Groundhogs - Thank Christ For The Bomb mp3 album

Thank Christ for the Bomb is the third studio album recorded by The Groundhogs, in 1970, originally released by Liberty Records. It was engineered by Martin Birch who had previously worked on albums by Jeff Beck, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green. It entered the UK Melody Maker album charts at number 27 on 20 June 1970, and had a total of 3 entries in that chart. The image of Pete Cruickshank on the left of the cover is adapted from photograph Q 1 in the Imperial War Museum's photograph archive.

I believe this is original 1970, for British market 'cause it says "A product of Liberty/Ua. Engineer - Martin Birch". So you tell me, Where does this one fit into the release history? Reply Notify me Helpful.

Most of these acts predictably failed to achieve the levels of success of those who had inspired them and were often criticized for treading ground already well trodden. Having released several moderately successful albums in the late 60’s, beginning with their aptly titled debut, Scratching the Surface, Groundhog’s breakthrough came in the form of their controversially titled fourth album, Thank Christ for the Bomb.
