Draconian Times is the fifth studio album released by British metal act Paradise Lost. Two tracks from the album, "The Last Time" and "Forever Failure", were released as singles with music videos, and both charted. This album was played in its entirety on the band's live album Draconian Times MMXI. This album was released with Shades of God and Icon in a boxed set called Original Album Classics.

Paradise Lost’s fifth studio album, released on Music For Nations in 1995. A remastered version of the album was released in 2011 featuring a DVD . mix and seven additional CD tracks including demos, live versions and the previously unreleased song ‘Last Desire’.

This album, Draconian Times, however, falls right in the middle, and is an excellent blend of both styles on offer. While the riffs are heavy and churning (albeit not as chugga-chugga as before), the band remains melodic and instead of going on sprawling 10-minute excercises in pointless noodling, the band keeps things short and sweet. Paradise Lost hit that atmosphere square on the nose on this release.
