Too tired to care No emotion to spare I rant and rave and scream and slash and tear. Cath woah woah It takes a lot to make me laugh woah woah You led me up the garden path woah woah It takes a lot to make me laugh. I'm shaking with fright And nothing's going right You've spoilt my day for the rest of the night. So weary and low I'm sad to the core Of all your lying and I'll have no more. Whoa Cath woah woah It takes a lot to make me laugh woah woah You led me up the garden path woah woah It takes a lot to make me laugh.
Sisters is a 1984 album from Scottish indie pop band The Bluebells. The only proper full-length album released by the band during their short career (1983's The Bluebells was a mini album released in the USA showcasing their singles), Sisters featured remixed versions of earlier singles "Cath" and "Everybody's Somebody's Fool" as well as the contemporary singles "I'm Falling" and "Young at Heart". The album reached on the UK albums chart in August 1984.
The Bluebells are a Scottish indie rock band, active between 1981 and 1986 (later briefly reforming in 1993, 2008–2009, 2011 and 2018). The Bluebells performed jangly guitar-based pop not dissimilar to their Scottish contemporaries Aztec Camera and Orange Juice. They had three Top 40 hit singles in the UK, all written by guitarist and founder member Bobby Bluebell (real name Robert Hodgens) – "I'm Falling", "Cath", and their biggest success "Young at Heart".
Even the most despondent soul will not be able to resist the Bluebells' charms on The Singles Collection. Containing more than an hour of uplifting, buoyant, and toe-tapping jangle pop, The Singles Collection is an irresistible career retrospective from a band that should've sold as many records as the Beatles. Unfortunately, the Bluebells were trapped in the wrong decade.
