James Taylor - James Taylor's Greatest Hits mp3 album

Greatest Hits is the first compilation album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor. Released on November 1, 1976. To this day, it is the best-selling album of his career. The album took place in the context of Taylor's end of his recording contract with Warner Brothers. It features two redone versions of "Carolina in My Mind" and "Something in the Way She Moves", both of which had been previously included on Taylor's self-titled debut album in 1968.

James Taylor is the self-titled debut studio album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor. Released on December 6, 1968, it was the first recording by a non-British artist released by Apple Records, and would also be Taylor's only release on that label. The album was released under the title First Album on the South African market. The album was produced by Peter Asher, who was A&R head for The Beatles' newly formed label Apple Records

The illustrious career of James Taylor has spanned nearly half a century. James Taylor’s first album was released in 1968 on the Beatles legendary Apple Records label. Since his debut album, James Taylor has released 16 more studio albums. As of this writing, James Taylor’s most recent album entitled Before This World was released in 2015. James Taylor has also released a beautiful Christmas album and two collections of cover songs. Taylor’s record companies have also put out a handful of greatest hits and essentials compilations. On our list, you’ll find none of this greatest hits albums

James Taylor's first Greatest Hits album, released in 1976 and consisting of his well-known early '70s recordings on Warner Bros. and re-recordings of some of the songs from his 1968 Apple Records debut, is in the rarefied sales category of double-digit millions, so a second volume, taking in his tenure at Columbia Records, was a no-brainer. The only wonder is why it took so long. But the second part of Taylor's recording career has been different from his first, especially when it comes to hits.

From 'James Taylor Live' (1993). Originally included on his 1970 breakthrough 'Sweet Baby James,' this fun blues parody really comes to life on the concert version included on Taylor's first greatest-hits package six years later. With winking lines like "I'm a churnin' urn of burnin' funk," Taylor shows he's capable of more than just the earnest singer-songwriter stuff. 7. 'Carolina on My Mind'. From 'James Taylor' (1968)

James Taylor's mid-'70s departure from Warner Bros. may be one of the best things that ever happened to the label; otherwise, it might not have been in such a rush to compile his Greatest Hits, one of the company's biggest sellers ever at 11 million and counting.
