Witchery - Symphony For The Devil mp3 album

Symphony for the Devil (Witchery album). Symphony For The Devil is Witchery's third full-length studio album after Restless & Dead in 1998 and Dead, Hot And Ready in 1999. It was released in 2001 and has received underground acclaim from metal fanzines and webzines. The album continues in Witchery's previous style, with thrash metal riffing and solos, but with a black and death metal influence

Symphony For The Devil' is perhaps Witchery's most ambitious album, marrying the slightly heavier, more thrashy sound of their classic debut with the slow-burn and atmospherics that only briefly appeared to this point. This culminates in Witchery's most diverse album, showcasing all points of the band's sound and creating some ripping songs in the process, despite some weaker cuts.

Symphony for the Devil is a live DVD by Type O Negative released on March 14, 2006. The DVD was recorded on Sunday August 22, 1999, at the 12th Bizarre Festival in Cologne, Germany

excellent cd quality sound pretty double clear vinyl. The artwork would have been better if they had kept the original from 2000ish but it's okay i guess. Definitely a must for any Witchery fan it's as good as you remember. m/

A surprisingly good-sounding pressing. Although the dynamic range leaves a lot to be desired (undoubtedly due in part to the style of music and the original production, see http://dr.loudness-war.info/album/view/91060 ), the vinyl still sounds great, with spectrum analysis showing the music consistently having frequencies upwards of 30 kHz. My only minor gripes are the way the ends of sides A and B cut off abruptly (since they originally segued into the next track), and that there's more than enough space on each side for the album to have been pressed at 45RPM, like the original pressing. Gripes aside, this repress is definitely worth getting. On another note, does anyone know how the original 45RPM pressing compares to this one?
