Red With Purple Flashes - The Creation Live - EP, 2010. Try and Stop Me, 03:13.

Our Music Is Red - With Purple Flashes doesn't improve on the definitive Creation collection How Does It Feel to Feel, nor is it any worse. Instead, it's a comprehensive, well-produced 24-track compilation that contains every one of the group's major songs, plus a couple of interesting covers, lesser-known singers and album tracks. Like How Does It Feel to Feel it offers a generous retrospective of the underappreciated mod quartet, and if you don't have that compilation, it's a worthwhile acquisition

this was put out truely for collecters out there , dont understand why bob garner was not credited on being the bass player ? but i may be wrong !! only saying as i was his son jamies best mate, we grew up together in north wales ,we were both born in 1973 ,bob treated me like his son too and i have and always will have very fond memmorys .bob garner was a legend in his own right he used to play for the merseybeats before he played with the creation plus other bands of that time, i remember back in 1993 or 4 when me and jamie and a thew friends were getting drunk round at his house, fab day the sun was beating down when this chap pops in and asks us where bob is , later that day we found out that this bloke was alan mcgee boss of creation records ,who he credited that name from his favorite band ,funnily enuff they had a regroup and played together at the mean fiddler in london ,aparently it all went well and they cut a live album for cohesion records . bob back in the day also backed the beatles ,rolling stones, jimmy hendrix and paul Mcartney.. he also wrote painterman . just thought id write a thew words as bob dident seem to get much cred . i my self have this limited 7" single , funny thing is that when i took it round to show bob a thew years ago he was quite surprised as he did not know anything about it but it made him smile ,laugh and have a reminise.. anyway thought id just share that with you all ..

Hi there mate,Just saw this comment....Bob was indeed a lovely man!! The reason he wouldn't have known about this is because he doesn't appear on it! This is basically an Eddie Phillips song from the early days which he ressurected in the 90s and wanted to put out. It was recorded at the famous Toerag Studios in London. I only have it on a cassette,i've never seen a copy before.

They recorded a new album for Creation Records in the mid-90s called Power Surge. I remember the single Creation from the album (yes, Creation by The Creation on Creation Records, ha ha ), and it's pretty damn good
