Gary Walker (born Gary Leeds, 9 March 1942, Glendale, California) was the drummer, and vocalist with both The Standells and The Walker Brothers. In 1967, after the Walker Brothers split, he founded Gary Walker And The Rain, Gary Walker was by far the least prominent of the Walker Brothers; nominally the drummer, he apparently played on few if any of the group's records. Also including future Badfinger guitarist Joey Molland, the group managed to release an album in Japan in 1968 before splitting in the late '60s. Leeds surfaced again as part of the mid-'70s Walker Brothers reunion. The sole LP by Gary Walker And The Rain is a middling slice of late '60s British mod-pop/rock with mild psychedelic influences, like phasing and slight guitar distortion.

Always loved the Walker Brothers I remember they were big here in the states. Good singing but noway as good as Jay & the Americans. Had to move to the . to make it. Usa blew this one. It still remains a beautiful song after 51 years ! Too bad we can not go back to the good old days. Its difficult to identify that who sang better this classic song ronettes or walker brothers. Both versions melt my heart, but wall of sound gives edge to ronettes, just my thought. Regards from Pakistan. の声を聴いた時の衝撃！ こんな素晴らしい声が世に存在したんだ。
