Embrace, a 2004 album by American jazz saxophonist Dave Pietro.

Embrace is the eponymously titled sixth studio album by English alternative rock band Embrace. The album, self-produced by Richard McNamara, was released on 25 April 2014 in Friday-release countries and on 28 April 2014 in the United Kingdom by independent record label Cooking Vinyl. The album is the band's first in eight years, after the release of their fifth studio album This New Day in 2006. It went to number 5 in the UK charts. Guitarist and producer Richard McNamara contributed greatly to the recording and production of Embrace, serving as one of only two personnel working on the album outside the band itself.

Listen free to Embrace – Embrace (Give Me Back, Dance of Days and more). There is two artists called Embrace with an album called Embrace. 1. The English band Embrace. Released on Cooking Vinyl. Their new self titled album Embrace was released on 28 April 2014, hitting in the UK charts. With the new album, the band have mined their very essence and delivered a piece of work that unearths the core of what Embrace have always been about – skyward-bound music of the soul that reaches far beyond life’s parameters.

There’s a lot of political bullshit surrounding this album and Ian’s involvement in the hardcore music scene, but its easy enough to say this: Ian didn’t like what his previous legendary band, Minor Threat, had created, and thus he created Embrace as a sort of counter balance to that. Whether or not he was effective with Embrace (the band broke up before the album was released) doesn’t really matter anymore. What matters is the topic I’ve taken far too long to delve into; the scope of the music Embrace made. Well, it’s not like the scope was that big.

Reviews about Embrace - Embrace (1):
Delaath
This band was Ian singing with The Faith basically, instead of brother Alec. This is peak, focused, inspiring Dischord post-punk, post -hardcore or emo-core if you must. Ian has admitted heavy influence from EMPIRE, a band made up of some ex-Generation X members after Billy Idol went solo, but you could also mention the Ruts & perhaps even something like Echo & the Bunnymen Crocodiles? It's an interesting blend of where Minor Threat was headed & UK post-punk with effects-drenched snake charmer guitars, interesting punk-ish rhythms & Ian's love it/hate it speaking/shouting/crooning (at times?) blaring on top.
