First time on CD for The Skids second studio album which reached the UK Top 40 back in 1979 and features the hit singles "Animation", "Charade" and "Working for the Yankee Dollar". 7 bonus tracks have been added including the hit single "Masquerade" and many non LP B-sides and with deluxe packaging, that includes lyrics, this is an essential re-issue. This is the original Bill Nelson mix of the album and not the re-mixed one which appeared some six months after the original.
Days in Europa is the second album by Scottish punk rock and new wave band Skids. It was released in 1979 by record label Virgin. A rough translation of "Dulce et Decorum Est (Pro Patria Mori)" is "It is a sweet and glorious thing (to die for one's country)". Dulce et Decorum Est" is also the name of a poem by Wilfred Owen

1979 studio album by Skids. Days in Europa has received a generally mixed response from critics. Ira Robbins of Trouser Press wrote "In polishing and refining the band's sound even a little, smoothed off the vital edge. Album cover controversy. The album was initially released with an Aryan album cover reminiscent of the 1936 Olympics, complete with Germanic Gothic-style lettering. The album was re-released the following year with a new cover.
