Only for completionists (0%). The live album is not so good with respect to recording quality but it's better than a lot of contemporary recordings I have heard. There's a bit of talking to the audience too which is always kind of fun to listen to. I like the introduction to 'Nightjar' where vocalist Bill Branch tells the audience to feel free and bash their heads on the tables. Overall this is very good progressive rock with the odd tendency to venture into proto-metal territory.

Orexis Of Death & Live Import. As a plus to the studio album there are 8 tracks recorded live at the Casino in Blackpool also in 1973, and if that's not enough there is a forty page booklet with the band history, and some amazing photographs. Absolutely wonderful album, the guitar riffs will just blow you away. Necromandus were a band that were by far way ahead of their time. Then I came across Necromandus Orexis of Death @ 10 years ago. Produced by Iommi and playing on a couple of tunes I was excited!! Then I get the disc. Not really impressed because there was nothing Sabbath about it. After a few listens I really began to enjoy it, just like Black Widows "Sacrifice".

Album: Orexis of Death & Live, 2013. 0. Homicidal Psychopath. Necromandus already holds the "legendary" and "of cult" status for any Downer and Prog Rock connoisseur. They were discovered by Black Sabbath's renowned guitarist Tony Iommi who produced their debut album back in '73, which unfortunately never saw the light until 26 years later.
