In short, Shotwell Coho (later truncated to just Shotwell in light of personnel alterations) was your proverbial super-group, albeit with a less than proverbial profile. Broustis has that classic Easy Bay punk rasp, but nothing overbearing, and his trio's economical, no-effects penchant aesthetically fits the mold of many of these aforementioned combos like a glove.
Shotwell Coho was the name used in the original 1994-96 incarnation of the San Francisco Bay Area based punk band now known as Shotwell. Their first SF gig was opening for the So Cal bands SUBLIME, STRUNG OUT and Santa Rosa's ska faves CONSPIRACY at the SF underground cooperative KOMOTION space in December of '94. They soon recorded a seven inch single for release on Broken Rekids with Kevin Army twiddling knobs and made a brief rambunctious Northwest tour

The 7th Song, Enchanting Guitar Melodies (Archives Vol. 1) is a 2000 album by guitarist Steve Vai. It is his first compilation album, but unlike a standard "greatest hits" or "best of" album, all of the songs on it (save for the three new tracks and the hidden track) can be found on one of Vai's previous albums as the 7th track. The 7th track on each of his albums is meant to be the most emotional and well articulated piece on the album
