Dalindèo - Poseidon / Solifer-Lento mp3 album

So if you were thinking Ricky-Tick’s Five Corners were the only jazzers in Finland that could go head to head with Nicola Conte, think again. This is a stunner for a debut release. Brazilian influences to the fore with a guitarist led band. He also wrote both these tracks. The front line of guitar, fugelhorn and flute works really well in a Conte, Truby Trio, Intuit mode. Poseidon’ is a high speed acid-samba-jazz whilst the b-side is mellower

In March 2013 Dalindèo released their third album "Kallio" in Finland on the Suomen Musiikki-label. The album won the prize of "Best Jazz Album of 2013 at the Emma-Awards, the Finnish Grammys. Consequently, the group toured all over Finland in jazz and rock festivals. The group's second album Korottaa Panoksii was released in October 2015, again followed by extensive touring all over Finland. With Dalindèo: Poseidon, Solifer-Lento 12 (Ricky-Tick Records, 2004).

Dalindèo is a Finnish sextet founded by guitarist-composer Valtteri Pöyhönen in 2003. The band plays cinematic, dancefloor-oriented contemporary jazz. Although the music has influences of IDM and other electronic styles, Dalindèo focuses fully on acoustic instruments and sounds, and on the craftmanship of top jazz musicians. Debut album "Open Scenes" was released in 2007 Dalindeo Toptracks. Solifer lento - Dalindèo.
