Grace Jones - Biggest Hits mp3 album

Inside Story is the eighth studio album by Jamaican-American singer Grace Jones, released in November 1986, her first with the Manhattan Records label. The album spawned the hit single "I'm Not Perfect (But I'm Perfect for You)". Having achieved a major success with the comeback album Slave to the Rhythm and the best-selling hits compilation Island Life, both in 1985, Grace Jones delivered her next album the following year.

This compilation album released in December 1985 was a culmination of hits from the first nine year of Grace Jones’s musical career. Featuring songs mostly by her albums produced by Island Records, including Nightclubbing, Fame and Portfolio, it became one her best-selling releases. The record sleeve created by her then-partner, the French photographer Jean-Paul Goude, shows Jones in a gravity-defying pose and became one of the most famous images of the iconic trendsetter. This album also spawned her biggest hit single of the same name.

Do Or Die Extracted as a single from her second disco album, 'Fame', in 1978, 'Do Or Die' is a catchy if generic disco number which didn't really see any developments in her musical style. Even so, it's an enjoyable number set to an urgent beat and an effective vocal from Grace

Portfolio is the debut studio album by Grace Jones, released in 1977 by Island Records. It spawned her first big hit, "La Vie en rose". Having enjoyed a successful modelling career in Paris and New York in the early 1970s, Jones released a series of singles throughout 1975–1976. None of them, however, managed to succeed in mainstream charts. Jones secured a record deal with Island Records in 1977 and found wider recognition only with her debut Island album, Portfolio.

Disco is a boxed set of three Grace Jones's albums released in 2015. The set contains Portfolio (1977), Fame (1978), and Muse (1979), all of which were recorded at Philadelphia's Sigma Sound with disco pioneer Tom Moulton as producer, in their entirety. The albums were remastered and each of the three CDs included seven bonus tracks while the vinyl box maintains the original track listings and offers a fourth record, that collects mainly long versions of the 45s from this era.

Grace Jones hit me! I gotta keep this mic!’ Management are running around saying ‘we’re gonna get sued!’ but she didn’t care. That’s when I realised that aggressive, strong side of her was what people liked. Despite the quality of Muse, her final album with Moulton, it bombed – disco had oversaturated the pop market. Grace became almost completely disenfranchised by the music business after her lacklustre Bulletproof Heart album in 1989, releasing the odd single for film soundtracks, but showing little interest in making another album. In 1997 she was reported to be working with Tricky, but that didn’t last long, although Hurricane – which they worked on together – did become the title track when she finally did release an album in 2008 (it had been called Cradle to the Grave when she’d worked with the Bristolian producer).

Reviews about Grace Jones - Biggest Hits (1):
This, unfortunately, is a rather low-fidelity pressing (particularly lacking in the high end when compared with the original releases).
