"Quite Unusual" is considered by many 1980's techno fans (aka electronic body music, aggrepo, or industrial techno) as one of the better classics from this decade. This is one of Front 242's best songs ever and an essential track to represent the mid-80's post new wave underground, progressive, hard-edged electronic dance scene. "Aggressiva" (sp?) is another good industrial techno track, perhaps more underground, and makes the 2-song record a decent value because the songs are different yet both enjoyable.

Ok, let me try bridge the gap between ya'll 3. Everybody here is actually right, it's just that the term techno is referenced in a different way.TeknoTim is referring to the (some may say incorrect) usage of the term techno prevalent in Europe in the late 80's before house and Detroit techno crossed the pond. In particular en Germany, the term techno was used for what we now call synth pop, as well as the early New Beat and Industrial.Since Techno is commonly associated with Detroit techno (rightly so) mesner asks the obvious question. And Fernand8, you need to chillax a bit and not make assumptions about closed mindedness and such. That was unnecessary (as well as the term EDM, which I find vomit inducing, but that's a matter of personal distaste).Hope we can all get along, don't hate me for trying to clarify.Peace.

I could not agree more. Spot on imo. Yes it is Industrial Techno. If you are a neo-punker with a no-future attitude, the labeling "Techno" might offend you as the limitation of your scope prevents you to enjoy or appreciate the place this music has in EDM history. And yes you can be a 242 fan and have an open mind, at least I think so.

Techno? Are you sure that you are a 242 fan?
