Though this live radio broadcast was recorded several months before their debut release, Suck On This, Primus were nonetheless a full formed band, having played locally, honing their chops, around Bay Area clubs for nearly 5 years. Les Claypool and crew rolled into the studios at KZSU in Stanford, CA in May of ’89 to perform their unique blend of funk-punk-metal for the college crowd.
