Complete your Petula Clark collection. The vinyl copy of VGL 7017 that I bought on release was called Strangers In the Night and had a different cover, although I do recognise the Groovy Kind of Love version. I can supply a poor image of the cover.

Petula Clark is the quintessential female pop singer. Her vocal style, phrasing and rhythm is impeccable. She projects warmth with a soft soulfulness and perfect pronunciation. Many of her 1960s smash hits like "Downtown," "I Know A Place," "I Couldn't Live Without Your Love" and others project a positive energy that is largely missing in pop music today. The arrangements are a light rock and roll beat with driving orchestrations that are irresistible. The sound of Petula is sexy, vibrant and uniquely her own.
Warner Brothers single "I Couldn't Live Without Your Love", was the seventh American hit for Petula Clark, her fourth Top Ten on these shores going to the top of the Adult Contemporary pop charts end of July, 1966. Written by her producer/songwriter Tony Hatch and his wife Jackie Trent the song is more than a delightful two minutes and fifty seconds of a journey through a love affair which started with a maybe/maybe not and evolves into total commitment and perpetual ecstasy
