The Who Live at the Fillmore East 1968 is released for the first time as an 3-LP and 2-CD set. April 27. Roger Daltrey performs two songs with Nile Rodgers and Chic at a celebration gala for the We Are Family Foundation at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. They play 'Who Are You' and 'Baba O'Riley'. Music From the Soundtrack of the Movie The Kids Are Alright is re-released for Record Store Day 2018. The two-disc set is issued as an exact replica of its 1979 original, complete with coloured liners and 20-page booklet – but this version has the two LPs in red. Following each performance of Tommy, Roger and the band perform an encore of three numbers, 'Who Are You', 'Baba O'Riley' and 'Always Heading Home', the last song from Roger's new album. For 'Baba O'Riley' the violin coda is played by New York City-based violinist Katie Jacoby.

When I did that album," singer Arthur Lee said, "I thought I was going to die at that particular time, so those were my last words. Lee, who died of cancer in 2006, was still performing this album live well into the '00s. And for good reason: The third record by his biracial . band is wild and funny and totally pioneering: folk rock turned into elegant Armageddon with the symphonic sweep and mariachi-brass drama of "Alone Again Or" and "You Set the Scene. In the late Nineties, Lee served time in prison.

Written by Matt Berninger, Aaron Dessner and Bryce Dessner, This Is the Last Time is a song by The National, released in the band’s sixth studio album, Trouble Will Find Me (2013). It’s the seventh track of the album and it was not released as a single. Like many songs on the album, This Is the Last Time is about a relationship, and how repetitive and dangerous love can become. At the time the groups' "Last Time" was at on the Canadian CHUM Top Singles chart; and ten days later it would peak at for one week. It was the Stones’ second Top 10 record, and their next release would become their first record, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" for four weeks on July 4th, 1965. See next post below}. Marie, OnThis song was on the Stones album "Out of Their Heads". Satisfaction was also on the LP. I realize Satisfaction brought them their first US and was the song that made them famous but for some reason I always preferred "The Last Time".

One Last Time" is the fifth and final single and third track from Ariana Grande's sophomore album, My Everything. It was released as a single, through Republic Records, on February 8, 2015 and re-released on June 3, 2017. The song debuted at on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 and peaked at on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was re-released as a charity single on June 3, 2017, due to 2017 Manchester Arena bombing. The proceeds went to the victims and their families.

Reviews about The Who - The Last Time (4):
Blackstalker
this is one of the harder french who 45s to find, as stated below the sleeve is rather thick and sturdy, next to the kids are alright this is not so easy to come by in great condition, still my favorite french sleeve is the ready steady who 4 track from 1966, that to has a sturdy sleeve like this one..........................

Just added this one to my collection! As with the other French picture sleeves from the 60's, this comes in a sturdy, glossy cardboard sleeve. The text on the color picture sleeve explains that this was a rush release by The Who to show support for Mick Jagger & Keith Richards after their scapegoat drug bust in 1967. This one is a "must have" for all Who singles collectors!
