Spirit on a Mission is the third release from Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock, released in March 2015. Amongst guitar gods in the rock and metal world, few come anywhere near the legendary Michael Schenker. His work with the Scorpions, UFO, and his own Michael Schenker Group remain revered all the world round by many a hard rock fan. In more recent years, Schenker has achieved a long awaited return to the musical forefront with his new band, the Temple of Rock

Michael Schenker (born 10 January 1955) is a German rock guitarist who has played in UFO and led the Michael Schenker Group. He was an early member of Scorpions, the band co-founded by his elder brother Rudolf Schenker. In the mid-1970s Michael joined UFO, playing lead guitar. He left the band in 1978 to found the Michael Schenker Group. He has rejoined UFO three times, producing an album each time. Schenker continues to perform and record

This new album is probably one of Michael Schenker's best work. It has great rock guitar riffs with fast melodies. It sounds like Scorpions, UFO, and MSG put together. In my opinion this is the band Michael has been waiting to find and he has finally found it. Doogie's voice is perfect for Michael's licks and the quality is at its best. This album is definitely worth getting if you are a Schenker fan! I am excited to hear how good he sounds live! 01. Live And Let Live 02.
