Face Dances is the ninth studio album by the English rock band The Who. It was released in 1981 on Warner Bros. Records in the United States (it was the band's first release on that label) and on Polydor Records in the United Kingdom. It was one of two Who studio albums with drummer Kenney Jones, who joined the band after Keith Moon's death three years earlier.

It's Hard is the tenth studio album by English rock band the Who. Released on 4 September 1982, it was their last album until 2006's Endless Wire, and therefore the last to feature bassist John Entwistle, who died in 2002. It was also the final Who album with drummer Kenney Jones, as well as the last to be released on Warner Bros. Records in the US. It was released on Polydor Records in the UK, peaking at No. 11, and on Warner Bros.

So it’s less jarring to hear different versions of the original songs and additions to the original track listing. Yesterday, Martin cited a quote from Lennon, who said that the White Album is the sound of the Beatles breaking up. Martin said he didn’t get that from listening to all the outtakes (which also includes banter between the members), and most listeners would probably agree. It sounds like they are having a great time, and it’s fun to listen to.

It is possible that not all of the demos were recorded at Kinfauns, and it has been speculated that some were recorded alone by the songs' composers. Alternatively, previously-made recordings may have been brought to Harrison's house for overdubbing, but, again, this is far from clear. Of the songs unreleased by The Beatles in 1968, perhaps the best known is Child Of Nature.

The Album 5 Demos are a collection of songs recorded between 2002's Maladroit and 2005's Make Believe. But really it's a new different style. The first known recording session is assumed to have taken place on February 3, 2002 during the mixing/mastering stage of Maladroit. However, this session is not listed in the official Recording History on weezer. com, but was mentioned on Karl's Corner on March 7, 2002, though roughly being dated "early February". Four songs from these sessions were eventually released as Mp3s on weezer. com: "Yellow Camaro", "Mad Kow", "Modern Dukes" and "She Who Is Militant". All Mp3s were labeled "2002-03-08". After a brief tour of Europe, Weezer contiued their work at Cello Studios in Los Angeles, CA where they had also recorded Maladroit.

Reviews about The Who - It's Face Demos (1):
this is a decent disc of some demos pete was working on in both 1980 and 1981 as you can see the last 3 tracks are part of the same whos next demos that seem to be available in a lot of other unofficial formats but its the first 8 tracks on here that are the majic charm as demos from the 60s and 70s seem to be fairly common but demos for face dances and its hard rarely pop up, my 2 favorites on here is the demo from 1980 how can you do it alone and the athena demo from late 1981 is pretty wild as pete sounds like he is going nuts on it, i much prefer the demo version of athena then the finished project that is for sure, the demos all sound very clear but are quite rough, i am not to big on post keith moon who or i should really say post who by numbers (after 1975) but i did really enjoy the whos 1981 opus face dances it was a good record i thought in 81 when it was released and i still feel that way 33 years on so i had to get this for my collection and i am very glad i did, if you are a who fan of all eras THEN GET THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you are just a 60s/early 70s who fan then dont bother.....
