Yasus Afari (born John Sinclair, 1962, Saint Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica) is a Jamaican dub poet. Sinclair was a childhood friend of Garnett Silk and collaborated with Silk on many of his best-selling recordings. He attended St. Elizabeth Technical High School, and worked as a repair technician for the Jamaican telephone company, before returning to school after receiving a scholarship to the College of Arts, Science And Technology.

Amongst others he worked with: Byron Lee & the Dragonaires, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Peter Tosh, Wailers,Grace Jones, Max Romeo, Pablo Moses, Jimmy Cliff, Johnny Clarke, Judy Mowatt, Devon Irons, Duke Reid, Sister Carol,Marcia Griffiths, Yasus Afari, . Betty Wright, Pushim and Tiken Jah Fakoly. He released his first album "Satta I" (Trojan) under the name of "Lizzard" in 1976. A second dub album, Orthodox Dub was released on the Wackies label. Hunt emigrated to New York City in the late 1970s, while in New York, he worked with Joe Gibbs and Lloyd Barnes' Wackies set-up.

Horace Andy, or Horace Hinds ( ⋆ 19 Feb 1951 in Kingston, Jamaica) is legendary reggae artist and roots reggae singer and songwriter. He is also Rastafarian. His first single, "This is a Black Man's Country," was released 1967 Andy is one of the most respected and influential singers in Jamaica, known for his distinctive falsetto vocal style and songs as Skylarking, Government Land, Angel, Five Man Army and for his work with English Massive Attack.
