Smashing Pumpkins - Earphoria mp3 album
Earphoria is a live album by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It is the soundtrack of the band's Vieuphoria video. In 2002, Vieuphoria was reissued on DVD and Earphoria finally earned a commercial release.

The Smashing Pumpkins reach their rawest in the depressing soliloquy Silverf ck, an obscure song from 1992's Lull EP Slunk and the Gish psychedelic classic I Am One. Slunk is dished out on Japanese TV, when the Pumpkins were still conquering the College charts. Insane amounts of feedback are heard before the band kicks into a horrible sounding riff. It's all muddied up and you can barely tell they're playing actual chords, seems to fit as Billy changes the lyrics from "Sister above" to "You talk sh t like a chummmmmmmp" in the Pumpkins most Punk-Rockin'. All these songs are good at first, but wear out quickly. You won't be let down. However any regular Joe might not like Corgan's raw vocals, or the wacky jams.
Earphoria is something of a headscratcher. Released: Nov 26, 2002 Release type: Album Label: Virgin Number Of Tracks: 15 Earphoria is something of a headscratcher. A sprawling, mostly live collection of tracks recorded in concert and during television performances, the disc stops short of the band's mid-'90s commercial peak, with the latest offering culled from '94. less.
Today (The Smashing Pumpkins song). Today" is a song by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins, written by lead vocalist and guitarist Billy Corgan. The song, though seemingly upbeat, contains dark lyrics. Corgan wrote the song about a day in which he was having suicidal thoughts, exemplified by the reference to self-mutilation in the bridge.
Only 7 left in stock (more on the way). Earphoria is something of a headscratcher. If you are a casual pumpkins listener I don't think this is the album to get, but for any real pumpkins fan this is a must for your collection.
The Smashing Pumpkins rarely fail to please, especially when they're well ensconced in the middle of live performance. With fabulous sound quality, this set showcases the Smashing Pumpkins roiling and rocking across material that is raw and raucous, yet strangely fragile, and these stunning live performances easily convey that magic just fine on their own - visual distraction isn't necessary at all. From the acoustic "Mayonaise" to "Silverfuck" and "Disarm," played across time zones in Japan, Germany, and England, as well as across our own stateside venues, the songs on Earphoria are a gripping alternative to their now-familiar studio counterparts.
