Protest The Hero - A Calculated Use Of Sound mp3 album

A music video for their song "These Colours Don't Run", from the EP A Calculated Use of Sound, was released in 2003. The video begins with the band discussing the meaning of the song and features the band playing the song live at numerous locations in Toronto, with the album music dubbed over the actual live recording. On January 15, 2013, Protest the Hero announced that their fourth studio album would be crowdfunded through Indiegogo. The band claimed that they want to forgo record companies and that they have "finally decided to take matters into own hands.

A Calculated Use of Sound is an EP released by Protest the Hero in 2003. It was later re-released in 2004 with re-mastered tracks, a remade cover with a black color scheme, and an additional song titled "Soft Targets Make Softer Graves". The re-release made its debut in America with the release of Kezia; the band gave free copies to the first one hundred people who pre-purchased the album. This album's sound bears little resemblance to the band's later music, and is more Hardcore Punk in sound

Sound - 10 I'm surprised that when I looked protest they didn't have this album, bacause really this was the one that totally made them. This is when they really started to eperiment with the whole dual guitar part bits and even more than on their later release "Kezia", there is definetly lots of Maiden within this disc, but hey who doesn't love Maiden these days, they are my favourite band for sure.
