Angelo Badalamenti - Twin Peaks Original Score mp3 album
For Twin Peaks fans, hearing more of the series' immediately recognizable music is almost as much of a revelation as another chapter from Laura Palmer's diary. While "All New" is something of a misnomer, Twin Peaks: All New Season Two Music is a nice way to commemorate the release of Twin Peaks' second season on DVD after years of languishing in the video netherworld.
Twin Peaks: Limited Event Series Original Soundtrack is a soundtrack album by American composer Angelo Badalamenti. It was released on September 8, 2017, by Rhino Entertainment. The album is the score to the Twin Peaks revival series, and includes previously unreleased compositions by Badalamenti. An additional soundtrack, which featured music performed and featured diegetically on the revival series, was concurrently released as Twin Peaks: Music from the Limited Event Series.
Those minor gripes aside, this is a fantastic album, showcasing some of the best of Angelo Badalamenti's score and, as previously mentioned, three gorgeous vocal tracks by Julee Cruise. All of the familiar themes are there, from the "Twin Peaks Theme" itself to the haunting "Dance of the Dream Ma. I've got good news: this music you like will never go out of style.
Mariah Carey, Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt, Roy Orbison and Angelo Badalamenti. No, not the unwitting cast of a singularly soundtracked acid trip gone awry but winners in each of the five divisions in the Pop category at the 33rd Annual Grammy Awards. Bonds formed and fate compelled, a crucial project bridging that first collaboration with what would soon be realised as the soundtrack to Twin Peaks was Cruise’s stellar 1989 debut album, Floating Into The Night, a ten-track release entirely co-written and produced by Lynch and Badalamenti. With its bold marriage of lounge music with narcotic, modern ambience, the record – not least ‘Falling’, the instrumental of which would become its aforementioned Grammy-winning main theme – all but served as a precursory soundtrack of sorts to Twin Peaks.

The songs we all knew from the original run still hit me the way they always have for sure, and I can distinctly remember hearing some of the new material during season 3. While I enjoyed the other 'soundtrack' from Season 3, I easily prefer this. In general I'm not big on scoring 'soundtracks', but this is certainly something all to itself. ☆☆½ ~ An inspiringly remarkable album. I feel intensely engaged with this consistent and deeply satisfying music in a wholly compelling unique way. 1.
