Songs that are upbeat are great for dancing, for using as pump-up music, or playing at parties. These are just fun upbeat songs! Upbeat music pumps through your body in that I-feel-so-good fashion, making you want to listen to those songs over and over and over again. There's nothing more fun. Songs that are upbeat are great for dancing, for using as pump-up music, or playing at parties. There's nothing more fun or makes you feel better than upbeat country music.
A great country song has to be the truth – Donnie Van Zant tells us about the making of My Kind Of Country. A lot of people couldn’t believe we did a country record but, to be truthful, it wasn’t that big of a leap for Johnny and myself. James Hetfield bared his soul on Mama Said, from 1996’s Load. Hetfield had previously written of his mother’s death from cancer on the doomy The God That Failed. By contrast, Mama Said was an elegiac country ballad, carrying, as Hetfield said, a realisation that lots of questions were unanswered. In retrospect it set a marker for the album and was supposed to come out like a fighting piece. It was cool for what it was, but it was just me and the band trying to make a hard-rock country record, which at the time wasn’t territory that had really been explored. I’d felt that country music needed a shake-up for a long time.
25 Sad Country Songs to Listen to When You're Feeling Blue. Grab a box of tissues. By Perri O. Blumberg. We still miss country great Joey Feek who died in 2016 from cervical cancer. But life will call with daffodils and morning glorious blue skies, You'll think of me some memory and softly smile to your surprise, And even though you love me still you will know where you belong, Just give it time we'll both be fine when I'm gone," Joey sings, in a moving track that the couple's friend originally penned. And unlike most of his arena rock anthems, this is one of the few Bryan songs that in concert you can probably hear a pin drop, as fans take a moment to pause and raise a drink to the ones they've loved and lost. 22 "A Place to Fall Apart," Merle Haggard.
