Mr. James Barth & A.D. - Knockin' Boots (Vol 1 Of 2) mp3 album

Knockin' Boots Vol. 1 ‎(12", Promo, W/Lbl). Svek always impressed, and so it was no second guess that a contribution from Alexi & Cari would hit the spot. F & ^ing brilliant. All 3 tracks are deep & complex, with a dominant, attention grabbing quality that no one can ignore.

For 1998, the production sound is WAY ahead of its time in terms of mastering, will hold its own against anything current. Svek always impressed, and so it was no second guess that a contribution from Alexi & Cari would hit the spot. I had no idea it was those 2 when buying, just bought it after a 1 minute burst of each side. F*&*^ing brilliant. All 3 tracks are deep & complex, with a dominant, attention grabbing quality that no one can ignore. Vol 2 is equally impressive: https://www.discogs.com/Mr-James-Barth-AD-Knockin-Boots-Vol-2-Of-2/master/713738 Quite simply 'must have' tackle for your sonic fishing rod...

One of the more accessible EPs of the bronze, silver and golden duo from sweden. Who were going strong producing progressive techno at their (CL's) Hybrid imprint since 94. Top producers at the height of their moment, which granted them a release at Steve Stoll's Proper. Another "producer's producer" a lot of people have forgotten about. Very decent EP, but indeed, Above the Skyline still stands strong and has stood the test of time, very well actually. This kinda has a similar feel to it as "Walking Through the Sky" (Theo Parrish) does, dipped in swedish tech sauce. Nice, dreamy and melancholic music. Quality granted.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this record. Picked up a couple copies a few years back and so glad I did. Prices gonna get crazy now with no repress.Volume 1 is definitely the one to get. Above The Skyline may be the 'standout' but the other tracks are great as well. Just a sick release all around.

Suckin Neck was single handedly responsible for me buying my first pair of 1200's back in 98. Beyond essential!!! "You gotta GROAN honey"!!!!
