Sort: Recent best-seller Results cached. Obviously upset that Supertramp dared the bare-chest artwork on their Indelibly Stamped album, Flash decided to choose a slightly less tackier breast artwork, well in line with the just as tacky panty artwork of their debut album. Musically this album is much in the logical Yessian musical evolution, despite deeply missing the lack of organ and other keyboards of Tony Kaye, gone to found Badger (you may want to check that first album, before checking this one out)

Flash is the self-titled debut studio album by British band Flash, released in February 1972 by Sovereign Records. Guitarist Peter Banks played with several bands before forming Flash, including The Nighthawks in 1963, The Devil's Disciples in 1964, The Syndicats in 1965 and then The Syn with Chris Squire on bass in 1965.

Flash Atkins is a super hero who had his gravy days in the 80s saving the world with his ability to manipulate sound. Unfortunately he's fallen on hard times and can be spotted in the less salubrious parts of London, often stoned or drunk on borrowed money. To make ends meet he uses his special powers to remix and make deep tech-soul tracks for We Are Woodville and paperecordings which he also runs.

Recorded at De Lane Lea Studios, Wembley, between 11/8/1971 and 11/21/1971. All songs published by Colgems Music Corporation, ASCAP. Tony Kaye appears by kind permission of Atlantic Records.

All 3 songs featured in The Flash season 1 epsiode 6: The Flash is Born, with scene descriptions. The conversation turns to The Streak. When Iris describes her experience with him, Barry renames him "The Flash.

Genres: Action, Adventure, Sci-Fi, Superhero. Publisher: DC Comics. The Flash knows he can't be everywhere at once, but what happens when he faces an all-new villain who really can! As if that's not bad enough, this villain is a close friend!

Reviews about Flash - Flash In The Can (1):
Skunk Black
Great progressive rock tracks with lots of time-changes and energy on this second album by Flash (25) after that Tony Kaye decided to continued without a keyboardist. For this reason, the most apparent instrument in the band's sound became the guitar of Peter Banks, who plays very inspired and powerful all the way through the album, where most of the tracks are long and complex (probably "Lifetime" and "Black and White" are the best ones). This is the original sleeve of which only a small batch were manufactured before being binned. In Record Collector Magazine of March 2014 is written that collector David Watkinson 10 years ago had managed to obtain one original sleeve from the Yes management team. It seems that there are to date only very few copies remaining. The valuation for the sleeve alone was £100+
