Album Brenda Russell. So Good, So Right Lyrics. We're on the shores of nowhere, looking out to sea I turn and kiss your face and you laugh at me You laugh at me. How do I feel? Well I feel like rain Feel like saying It feels so good, so right To be with tonight. So good, so right) (To be with you tonight) (So good, so right) hight (To be with you tonight). The very first hit song I had, So Good, So Right, I wrote that while I was washing dishes at a dinner party I was having. And I was washing the dishes and this little song came in my head, and all I had in those days – this was 1978 – all I had was a piano in the living room where all the dinner guests were.
