Robbie - Get Back 2 U mp3 album

Robbie Robertson is the solo debut album by Canadian rock musician Robbie Robertson, released in 1987. Though Robertson has been a professional musician since the late 1950s, notably a founder of and primary songwriter for The Band, this was his first proper solo album. Robbie Robertson won the Juno Award for "Album of the Year", and producers Daniel Lanois and Robertson won the "Producer of the Year" Juno award, both in 1989 (there were no Juno Awards in 1988).

Member Robbie Williams went off to major solo success, and had a particularly memorable episode of MTV Cribs. 25 of 38. John LamparskiGetty Images.

Robbie Robertson's first solo album sounds remarkably different from his previous work with The Band, due to his teaming up with producer Daniel Lanois (whose ethereal textures bring out a new level of emotion in his music) and members of Peter Gabriel's backing band. Robertson wasn't considered much of a singer during his tenure with The Band, but here he makes up for lost time with a set that's simply majestic. U2 collaborates on "Sweet Fire of Love" and "Testimony. The album is an atmospheric tour de force, a slice of ambient rock 'n' roll, with "Sonny Got Caught in the Moonlight" and "Somewhere Down the Crazy River" highlighting this approach. A slew of special guests keeps things bright and shiny, while Robertson handles the darker end of the spectrum. Robbie Robertson Robbie Robertson.

However, the concept for 'Get Back' kept changing. The first incarnation of the project was to be a documentary of the Beatles at work on a new album. The project started on January 2nd 1969 at Twickenham Film Studio with tensions right from the start. The early morning filming schedule wasn't very productive for a band that was accustomed to late night recording at Abbey Road. At one point a bed was moved in for Yoko, whose presence merely aggravated an already tense situation.

Hand me two eggs from the refrigerator, and I'll make you two fried eggs. How about some bacon? Grandpa. I made enough for an army. You going to the baseball game today? It's a perfect day for it-a little cloudy but nice and warm. In the final act, Philip, Robbie and Grandpa try to help Albert. But, Philip gets a call from work and the fishing trip ends early. How will Robbie feel? Robbie. Here's the bag. Will he be OK, Dad? Philip.

Side two: For You Blue Two Of Us Maggie Mae The Long And Winding Road I Me Mine Across The Universe Get Back (Reprise). Despite Glyn Johns' efforts The Beatles remained unsatisfied, and were doubtful as to its commercial viability. In a final attempt to conclude the project, Phil Spector was brought in on 23 March 1970. John Lennon and Yoko Ono give a press conference in Aalborg, Denmark.
