Disco Rick (a/k/a Ricky Taylor) is a Miami bass hip-hop musician who has served as performer and producer over the past 15 years. Rick began his music career with the Gucci Crew in the early 1980s, mixing music and writing lyrics that would go on to help define the Miami sound. He decided to strike out on his own before the group recorded their second album, and in 1990, he released his first LP with The Dogs - a group he co-founded on Joeyboy Records.

Sheffield is the seventh studio album by the German hard dance band Scooter, released in 2000. It includes two singles: "I'm Your Pusher" and "She's the Sun". All songs written by . Baxxter, Rick J. Jordan, Axel Coon, and Jens Thele, except "I'm Your Pusher" co-written by Allan Gray and Walter Reisch; "Sex Dwarf" written by David Ball and Marc Almond; and "Summer Wine" written by Lee Hazlewood. All lyrics written by The Screaming Lord. MC's Missing" - 1:16. Don't Gimme the Funk" - 4:13.

Sheffield shows why Scooter, who are big-time hitmakers overseas, haven't so much as cracked the charts in the States. Sure, their highly melodic brand of techno is poppy enough; several of Sheffield 's tracks, in fact, sound something like Chumbawumba 's "Tubthumping" with a sample or two tacked on and the bpms cranked up. But Sheffield 's straight-ahead grooves, macho shoutalong lyrics, and draguer poses (copped from less-than-reliable Europop exemplars like Right Said Fred ) are embarrassingly square, boring, and almost domineering at times, the sort of stuff.
