Chronicle is Sound Horizon's 1st concept story, published on December 30, 2001 and is the first (doujin) album produced. Some of these ballads would later go on to having lyrics added to them and or they would be added to other future doujin albums. To every song there is a poem featured in the booklet.

1st Story Renewal CD Chronicle 2nd is an album by Sound Horizon. It was released on March 19th, 2004, and was the last release by Sound Horizon as a doujin circle, as it made its major debut with the label Bellwood Records later that year. At the time of the release, Chornicle 2nd was the longest record to have been released by the band, spanning over 71 minutes.

Sound Horizon (サウンドホライズン), abbreviated by fans as Sanhora (サンホラ), is a Japanese art rock/symphonic metal band comprised of the composer Revo as its leader. It was conceived in 2001 when the band released their 1st Story CD, Chronicle, at Comiket 61. Revo had previously recorded and released several demo songs via the internet in the late 90's. He is also the longest running and currently the only official member of Sound Horizon.
